Gillian Welch Soul Journey CD Rock Music Review
The Rock talented artist Gillian Welch has released his latest CD on the label Acony Records entitled Soul Journey.
I wish it were not the case, but it is not every day that I get a CD from an artist just pop in and comfortably listen from beginning to end. Usually there are one or two songs that I can not force me to go. Absolutely not the case of Soul Journey. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to hear from beginning to end.
Soul Journey is a well-varied mix of 10 tracks that are very well written songs by this artist with exceptional clarity. Most of the songs show a large part of the kind emotion that makes the big truly listen. It is clear that the development of what can only imagine are their own life experiences real. At different points touching on emotions like love more real, the pain of relationships can certainly not be heard.
Soul Journey is generally excellent from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are engraved in his memory. A must have for fans of Rock. Really spectacular from beginning to end.
Although this album is really very good the key themes of truth are track 2 – Make A pallet on your floor, track 4 – I Had A Real Good Mother and Father, and the track 10 – Wrecking Ball.
My Best Pick, and the pain has [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 10 – Look at Miss Ohio. This is a great track!
