Grand Funk
Grand Funk Railroad, Where are standing in rock history?

Personally, I love those guys, but most critics hated them.

In 2000, Brewer and Schacher decided to hire the singer Max Carl (of .38 Special fame), former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick and keyboardist Timothy Cashion, and continue as Grand Funk Railroad. Tour steadily since then, Grand Funk Railroad built a new audience, while drawing fans of the original band. The new incarnation of Grand Funk Railroad plays about 30 concerts per year. The band is supposedly writing new material, with plans for next release include the 9 / 11 inspired ballad "Who Took Down The Stars", written by Carl and Kulick.
